Message from the Treasurer of OPA -

First and foremost, let me thank all the members for electing me as the Treasurer of the OPA for FY 25/26 at the AGM held on 31st Oct 2025. It's new team and management and step into January 2026 while closing the books for 2025 successfully, I extend my warmest wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year to you and your families.

Since being appointed as your Treasurer, my priority has been to uphold the principles of transparency and fiscal responsibility which are paramount to the success and sustainability of our organization, These are not merely administrative goals , but the bedrock upon which the sustainability and mission of the OPA are built and I believe it is crucial for every member to understand how their contributions are being managed and invested back into our shared mission.

As we review the past months, I am pleased to report that the Organization's financial position remains strong and stable. Your commitment to our mission, demonstrated through timely membership renewals and support for our various initiatives, has been instrumental in allowing us to fund all of our scheduled programs and community outreach effectively.

We have implemented several strategies to accomplish our financial targets for 2026, strategically positioning ourselves for long-term resilience and enhanced member services. Our robust financial performance is a direct reflection of your continued engagement and enthusiastic participation in our revenue-generating initiatives.

Going forward, we plan to invest in digital transformation to enhance the OPA's online visibility, while strengthening resources for legislative advocacy to influence policies that affect our members' professional opportunities.

Thank you once again for your dedication and support. I look forward to working with you all to make 2026 our most impactful year yet!
