The OPA launched a News Web Portal with the objective of strengthening the dissemination of professional opinions and insights on matters of national importance. This initiative provides an opportunity to extend the professional voice not only to policymakers and other key decision-makers in the country, but also to the general public. The OPA President, Mr. Jayantha Gallehewa, officially launched the News Web Portal. Mr. Priyantha Wickramarathna, Editor, Chairman, Publication Commiittee, OPA, also participated in the occasion.
The OPA serves as the apex body for 52 professional associations, representing 34 distinct professions and a membership base of over 60,000 professionals. Through this new digital platform, the OPA aims to further strengthen its engagement with stakeholders and contribute constructively to national development through informed professional perspectives.
