The seminar titled “Sri Lanka’s Economic Crossroads: Navigating Recovery, Resilience and Growth” was held on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, from 6:00 p.m. onwards at the OPA Auditorium in Colombo, followed by dinner and fellowship. Organized by the National Issues Committee jointly with the Seminars, Workshops and Programmes Committee of the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka, this timely event provided a comprehensive platform for discussing the economic situation of Sri Lanka and exploring viable pathways toward long-term stability and prosperity.
At a time when the country was facing significant economic challenges, the seminar brought together thought leaders and experts to critically examine Sri Lanka’s economic trajectory. The discussion focused on key themes such as sustainable recovery strategies, strengthening economic resilience to withstand future global and domestic shocks, and identifying opportunities for inclusive and sustained growth.
