OPA Damsak Poson Zone
The Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) conducted Damsak Poson Kalapaya, a special Poson devotional zone organized to commemorate the sacred Poson season. The event brought together spiritual reflection and cultural celebration in a serene and meaningful atmosphere on 30th June 2026, commencing at 6.00 PM at the OPA premises.
At the invitation of Venerable Athula Dassana Nayake Thero of Borella, the Dhamma sermon was delivered by Venerable Rathana Thero. The program included a range of religious and cultural activities, such as a Poson lantern display, devotional (bhakthi) songs, and the distribution of chickpeas (kadala) and sago (saw). These activities helped cultivate a spirit of community, generosity, and spiritual upliftment among all participants.
