ONE YEAR TO LEAD: HOW DYNAMIC LEADERS PLAN AND EXECUTE PROJECTS IN A LEGAL AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER

The Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) successfully convened a professional development workshop titled "ONE YEAR TO LEAD: HOW DYNAMIC LEADERS PLAN AND EXECUTE PROJECTS IN A LEGAL AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER."

The event was held in the OPA Auditorium on December 12, 2025, and was a collaborative effort, jointly organized by the OPA's Law & Order & Constitutional Amendments Committee and the Seminars, Workshops & Programmes Committee.

The workshop was designed to address the critical intersection of leadership, project management, and legal accountability. Dr. Sunil Abeyrathne, Attorney-at-Law and a Vice President of the OPA, delivered the keynote address, sharing expert insights on structuring annual leadership plans within a robust legal and ethical framework..

Eng. Chamil Edirimuni, Vice President of the OPA and Chairman of the Seminars, Workshops & Programmes Committee, moderated the session, facilitating an engaging dialogue and Q&A with the attendees..

Throughout the workshop, participants were equipped with practical strategies and actionable frameworks for enhancing their leadership effectiveness, streamlining project execution, and ensuring full legal compliance over a strategic one-year timeline. The event was followed by a dinner.
